The Makers Table

A dinner series built around connection and collaboration.

The Makers Table is a Philadelphia-based community dinner series bringing together artists, makers, founders, and creatives for thoughtfully curated evenings centered around meaningful connection.

Founded by Alexandra Moncayo and Sydney Welch, each gathering is designed around a new idea, bringing a different mix of people, creative partners, and experiences to the table. From the guest list and setting to the food, conversation, and collaborative details, no two dinners look quite the same. What began as a way to bring creative people together has grown into a community of hundreds who have gathered around our tables, contributed their work, formed friendships, found collaborators, and discovered new opportunities along the way.

More than dinner.

The table is simply where it starts. Our gatherings are intentionally intimate, creating space for people to actually get to know one another. We invite guests to participate, contribute, and share what they do—turning each dinner into something shaped by the people in the room rather than simply an event they attend. It’s an ongoing experiment in what can happen when the right people are brought together with a little intention.

Around Our Table

The Makers Table collaborates with brands, businesses, venues, chefs, artists, and makers who want to contribute something meaningful to the experience. Rather than traditional sponsorship, we look for opportunities to thoughtfully introduce products, spaces, and ideas in ways that add to the evening and give our community an authentic opportunity to experience them.

For creatives, it’s an opportunity to bring your work to the table.

For brands, it’s a chance to become part of the experience.

And for our guests, it’s a place to discover something or someone they may not have encountered otherwise.
